Older Adult Day Pass Application
The GRT Older Adult Day Pass pilot program allows riders turning 65 this year and older to travel free one day each week. The free day pass can be used on GRT buses, ION trains MobilityPLUS and Kiwanis Transit. This pilot program will run from July 1 until December 30, 2026.
Each week, customers who are part of the program will receive a day pass, good for unlimited trips for one calendar day, in the GRT Pay app. Customers can choose which day they want to use the pass.
The program uses GRT Pay exclusively in order to roll out the program as quickly as possible and collect data on how it’s being used.
Older adults living with low income may also qualify for GRT’s Affordable Transit Program, which offers a discount on GRT fare products.
Before you begin
- Download the GRT Pay app
